She has graced the covers of many magazines, worn numerous style awards ,hosts her own radio show and has recently scooped the Top Billing gig . Its only normal to be envious of this over achiever .Bonang Matheba is not only a household name ,she is a great inspiration to young women across the country and many media scholars .This week we are celebrating her style and flair. She certainly deserves it.
Despite the media’s out roar on her relationship involving physical abuse and drug rumours ,she has come out on top to take what is rightfully hers .In one of her facebook posts she posted ,”God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers...”She has over 200 000 twitter followers and a number of facebook friends .
At the meek age of 25, she has been listed in Forbes Magazine as the 13th most influential artist in Africa. Many only get to dream about her reality, she is certainly living the South African dream. Originally from Mafikeng ,in the North west, the media goddess is a role model and an inspiration to those who would like to follow in her leboutins .
Her signature looks are created by the talented Gert-Johanne Coetzee .She is the ambassador of his clothing label .He is a couture fashion designer who has dressed one of the Kardashian sisters-Kourtney Kardashian ,AMONGST THER South African stars .It was only right that the two hit it off .Every red carpet look is well thought and totally in with the times.
